Bruce is a seasoned executive with over 30 years’ experience across government, business and community sectors. A former CEO of one of Australia’s most remote local government communities, the Torres Strait Island Regional Council, he managed $1.8 billion in assets and led major service delivery for 15 Indigenous communities; experience Ōtepoti Dunedin needs. Bruce has strong commercial acumen gained from senior roles in finance, logistics and consumer goods.
Making Ōtepoti Dunedin home 35 years ago, he actively contributes locally as a member of the Te Pae Oranga Iwi Community Panel, supporting restorative justice, and serves as an Elder with Te Pae Oraka. Committed to community wellbeing and sustainable development, Bruce offers proven leadership with integrity and transparency.

Jarrod is a dedicated community leader who has lived in Dunedin for over 30 years. A member of the West Harbour Community Board, he advocates for safer walkways, road improvements, and better maintenance of public spaces. As Commercial Manager at Transport Blast & Paint Limited and a former NZ Army territorial soldier, he brings leadership, discipline and service to everything he does. A passionate train enthusiast, he enjoys maintaining his garden railway and spending time with family. Jarrod is focused on improving city infrastructure, ensuring financial responsibility, and fostering strong community engagement for a more sustainable and well-managed Dunedin.

Andrew brings the grit and practicality of rural Otago straight into Dunedin’s council chambers. Raised on an Otago farm and educated in Oamaru, Andrew spent decades farming before pivoting to education, earning his degree from Otago University. For 13 years, he's shaped young minds at both Trinity Catholic and Taieri Colleges.
A committed family man of four, Andrew and his wife Toni recently moved from their North Taieri lifestyle block to Mosgiel. Deeply involved in community sports and governance, including roles as President of Taieri Cricket Club and Chairperson of School Boards, he understands accountability and wise resource management.
Andrew’s priority as a Councillor is clear: ensuring responsible, strategic spending to build a sustainable, vibrant future for Dunedin.

Dr Amy Taylor
Amy is a passionate disability advocate, experienced community connector and committed local leader. Since moving to Dunedin in 2010, she has contributed to the community through extensive volunteer work with organisations including the Dunedin Bedding Bank, Meals on Wheels, Girl Guides, Plunket and the Otago Deaf Society.
She works as a Community Connector for the Disabled Persons Assembly, supporting greater inclusion and accessibility across the city, and holds a PhD in Genetics from the University of Otago. Her analytical thinking, lived experience and deep understanding of community needs inform her approach to local decision-making.
Amy believes Council must prioritise financial transparency, smart spending and practical solutions. She is particularly focused on improving accessibility, supporting Dunedin’s disabled and elderly populations, and ensuring housing and homelessness are addressed with compassion and urgency.
She brings both heart and expertise – and believes Council must work with and for all its people.
